Finally got a handle of myself!
A handle. A very, VERY nice handle. Finally! In my amplifier designs, I spend hours-weeks-months-years searching for specific parts that ultimately make up the whole. Not only do my amplifiers need to sound as good as they do or be as reliable as they are, they need look and feel a certain way. From the moment you take a Schroeder amp out of the shipping box, one needs to sense as if they have something special in their midst. Touch the hand-stitched leather handle to lift it into place. You hear the CLICK as the power cord is inserted and twisted into the locking position. The perfect amount of resistance as you SNAP the power switch on. The warm and even glow coming from the back lit Schroeder logo. The way the pots feel as you turn them to adjust the settings for the first time. It all makes a big difference in a creation of this caliber and as my art form, I take this very seriously.
