Marantz
Marantz was founded in New York by Saul Marantz. After designing and building The Audio Consolette, a Hifi Preamplifier for the home, the company became official in 1953. Saul would go on to become a Legendary Acoustic Expert and is viewed as one of the original architects of Hifi Amplification. Today, Marantz Products are made in Japan but used all over the globe, and even by NASA during the Apollo Space Program. Marantz has been developing and incorporating emerging technologies in its product line for decades. No matter what form of media you are trying to play, Marantz has you covered with turntables, CD players, and Media Streamers. Their collection of AV Components is also impressive with fantastic-sounding preamps and power amplifiers.
