Why don’t you see many Schroeder amps for sale?
January 8th 2021 - When you buy a Schroeder amp, it’s for life. So many of my customers have been searching for “the right” amp for decades. Buying, trying, and ultimately selling, only to repeat this process again and again. On my bench today are a pair of my first “real” model, the DB7 (now the SA9+). Still owned by the original owner and in my shop to be freshened up and UPGRADED. Yes, that’s right. All of my amplifiers have an upgrade path so that the person who INVESTED IN one of my amps 15 years ago, can use the same amp that they’ve loved while sharing in design upgrades that have been developed over the years. I can’t think of any other builders who offer this type of lifetime commitment to their creations or customers!
