Reaching down to 37 Hz, the EV 900 Ref. delivers tight, distortion-free low frequencies that anchor the music without overpowering it. The 5.5” paper-cone mid-woofer blends naturally with the 1” soft-dome tweeter, creating a coherent, phase-accurate response. Imaging is holographic and realistic, allowing listeners to pinpoint instruments with absolute clarity.

The 5.5” mid-woofer uses a sliced-paper cone to control resonance and maintain absolute clarity in the midrange and bass.
Unique Crossover & Resonance Controlled Cabinet
A unique crossiver is designed to push phase shifts outside the crossover spectrum, ensuring a seamless transition between drivers. The resulting output of the drivers is uncolored by cabinet resonances thanks to precision machined and internally damped enclosure construction damped for maximum neutrality.
